New stores open in Portland, Milford, Quaker Hill

FARMINGTON, Conn., Dec. 8, 2014 – Life just got a little more convenient for Connecticut residents, thanks to KBE Building Corp.’s recent completion of three Cumberland Farms stores in Milford, Portland, and Quaker Hill.

KBE served as General Contractor for all three projects.

Cumberland Farms | Milford, CT

  • new construction of a 4,500 s/f convenience store with gasoline pumps
  • $1.29 million
  • located at 258 Boston Post Road
  • completed in September 2014

Cumberland Farms | Portland, CT

  • demolition and rebuild of existing 4,500 s/f convenience store with gasoline pumps
  • $1.75 million
  • located at 204 Marlborough Road
  • completed in April 2014

Cumberland Farms | Quaker Hill, CT

  • new construction of a 4,500 s/f convenience store with gasoline pumps
  • $1.43 million
  • located at 47 Norwich Road
  • completed in November 2014

Good Things Come in Threes

KBE’s three Cumberland Farms are hardly its only set of “triplet” projects. The firm has worked on three Department of Defense commissary and exchange projects in New London, Conn.; Annapolis, Md.; and Millington, Tenn.

KBE’s Mid-Atlantic regional office has also built three Harris Teeter grocery stores in Southeast DC and in Olney and Potomac, Md.
