KBE Welcomes Matthew Haught to Lead Mid-Atlantic Office

Laurel, MD, April 7, 2021 – Matthew Haught has joined KBE Building Corporation as Vice President and leader of the firm’s Mid-Atlantic regional office, located in Laurel, MD. He will oversee all aspects of the office, as well as preconstruction, operations, client relationships, and staff.

Mr. Haught’s focus is on expanding KBE’s regional presence, including within the firm’s established markets of senior living, retail, higher education, government, and corporate. His 25+ years of construction experience and in-depth knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic market will be instrumental to the firm’s expansion in the region.

Previously, Mr. Haught was director of operations for LendLease Construction’s Washington, DC regional office in Rockville, MD, where he led major projects that included 4747 Bethesda Avenue in Bethesda for JBG Development and the AC Marriott in Washington, DC for OTO Development. His prior work includes projects such as the Sustainment Center of Excellence in Ft. Lee, VA among other private and public projects. He has extensive design-build experience with Department of Defense on projects throughout the region.
