KBE Building Corporation Donates Thanksgiving Dinners to 225 Families in Connecticut and Maryland
FARMINGTON, Conn. and COLUMBIA, Md., Nov. 27, 2013 — KBE Building Corporation (KBE), www.kbebuilding.com, completed its fifth annual “Gift of Gobble” program, a favorite program in the company’s award-winning community outreach initiative, 50 Ways to Make a Difference.
At KBE Connecticut office, employees and their families from the Connecticut office gathered early on Saturday, November 23, to assemble 200 boxes of food for Connecticut families in need. Each box will included all the essentials for a classic Thanksgiving dinner, including a turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, corn, beans, potatoes, yams, rolls, apple pie, pumpkin pie and a roasting pan.
Boxes were delivered to charitable organizations throughout Connecticut last weekend. KBE provided Gift of Gobble meals for community and family service agencies and food banks including Cardinal Shehan Center in Bridgeport; Food Bank at Access Community Services in Danielson; Jewish Home in Fairfield; Farmington Community Services in Farmington; Odd Fellows in Groton; Columbus House and AFRC in Middletown; Habitat for Humanity and Columbus House in New Haven; and Waterbury Youth Services in Waterbury.
