Description: General Contractor for the 1,500 sf renovation and addition to the operational distribution center. Interior scope includes full security screening area, break room, and large storage room. Site improvement encompassed removing 20,000 cubic yards for tractor trailer parking lot with retaining walls, storm infiltration systems, security perimeter fencing with barbed wire topping, relocation of existing gas and water services, modified septic systems and modified riprap storm channels to prevent future erosion of wetlands cause by storm run-off. Full scope completed in just 2 months. KBE implemented Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP) to protect surrounding wetlands. The SWPPP was continually updated and no erosion damage resulted from the construction activities within the wetlands. Wildlife was also protected within the limit of disturbance.
