Description: General Contractor for Joint Commissary (51,000 sf) and Navy Exchange (98,000 sf) at the Naval Activity Support base. The Commissary includes retail sales area, nonperishable and refrigerated food storage, garden center, administrative areas, site work and all associated facilities, as well as demolition of existing department, operational support and staging areas. The Navy Exchange provides a barber shop, beauty shop, optical shop, jewelry store, main retail sales area, food court, administrative offices, operational support areas, and stock room. The project was designed and constructed for LEED Silver certification.
