Description: Construction Manager at Risk for the 13,800 sf, 2-story, wood-framed River Center and Boathouse housing sailing and crew programs, biology research, and waterfront recreation, set on the college’s historic waterfront campus – one of five projects completed to date for the College. During preconstruction, KBE recommended a design-build solution for the mechanical/electrical systems to bring the project back within budget. The River Center is heated and cooled by 36 geothermal wells, all constructed within the environmentally sensitive waterfront location.
