Description: Preconstruction and Construction Manager at Risk for the new seven-story, 195,000 sf addition to the Continuing Care Retirement Community. The addition provides 87 Independent Living Units ranging from 1,400 sf to 1,800 sf, and a two-story parking garage. Renovations to existing, occupied building includes kitchen | dining areas, common spaces, and administrative and marketing departments. A one-story addition – called “Main Street” – ties together the existing building and the new facility. This communicating corridor between the existing facility and new facility connects all the support functions for the community, including a bank, offices, community center, performing arts room, library, conference rooms, salon/message area, public restrooms and a Bistro/Market area. Sustainable design features include a “green” roof, and energy-efficient lighting and rooftop air handling units.
