Description: Design-Builder and Constructor for the new Connecticut Hall Residences and Dining Hall set on UCONN’s South Campus. The 280,000 sf, 7-story residence hall provides 657 beds, a 500-seat dining hall, game rooms, seminar and meeting rooms, and multi-purpose spaces.

The majority of suites house four students, two in each bedroom, with a shared bathroom. In addition, the building includes two residential life staff apartments.  Each of the five residential floors provide study/meeting spaces.

Amenities include: bike room, mailroom, game room, several small and medium-size rooms, offices,  “living room”,  laundry room, gender-inclusive restrooms, and staff offices.

The building is designed to meet the University goals related to sustainability, including LEED Gold. Outdoor lawn space has been designed for student use for recreation and relaxation.

The project is part of the University’s multi-year master plan for campus development to help catalyze research, academic excellence, and economic growth.
