Description: General Contractor for the $7.2 million, 20,000 sf renovation and addition to the existing university dining facility. With just 3 months to complete the comprehensive interior renovation, KBE’s project management team came up with an innovative approach: divide the renovation into four discrete sections, with a separate schedule for each. Our trade contracting team stepped to the plate, working together to solve conflicts with work sequencing and working double-shifts and through weekends to meet the near-impossible schedule. Certified LEED Gold.

“…we faced a very aggressive schedule…just three months for what would typically take six months…Your project team worked faithfully and steadfastly to meet our August opening date…We particularly appreciated the daily interaction between your team and our facilities and dining hall staff as we worked through changes during construction….” - Gail Zang Merrill, University of Connecticut, Publicity/Marketing Manager
