Description: Design-Builder and Constructor for 128,000 sf, five-story, 338-bed residence hall and 450-car parking garage- KBE’s sixth project for WCSU. Accomplished a 12-month construction schedule in just 10 months, needed to accommodate delays caused by neighbor opposition to project siting. To meet the schedule, our Preconstruction Team recommended precast wall-and-plank system, prefabrication all exterior wall panels, and on-the-ground assembly of the prefabricated roof trusses prior to installation. LEED NC v2 certified.

“I commend your diligent staff…for their exemplary management during the course of this project…KBE has successfully completed other WestConn projects in the past..and on every occasion has proven itself both professional and honorable throughout.” - Thomas P. Carlone, AIA, Director of Planning & Engineering (ret.)
