Description: General Contractor for award-winning, 22,000 sf boathouse, which serves as home to Yale University’s men’s and women’s athletic teams. Set on the Housatonic River, the timber-framed structure built partially on piles, with the footings located on land and the remainder of the building project out over the river. Custom interior finishes include exposed wood roof decking, wood flooring, and fireplace. The facility also offers storage for shells and boats, office and meeting space, and shower and locker room facilities.
