Children, veterans, needy families among beneficiaries
COLUMBIA, Md., Dec. 22, 2014 – Residents of various parts of Maryland received meals, gifts, and a step up to home ownership thanks to donations and volunteer time contributed by KBE Building Corp.’s Mid-Atlantic regional office in 2014 – the sixth year of the firm’s corporate philanthropic program, 50 Ways to Make a Difference.
Established in 2009 to celebrate the firm’s new ownership, name change, and 50 years in business, 50 Ways has helped KBE associates donate more than $1.5 million and 6,000 volunteer hours to charitable causes benefiting children, seniors, and military veterans in Connecticut and Maryland.

Staff at KBE’s Northeast regional office in Connecticut also participated in 50 Ways, logging nearly 2,000 volunteer hours and $134K in contributions in 2014. Beneficiaries included technical high school students, veterans, and needy families.
