Construction Firm Completes Construction of L.L. Bean Store

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Aug. 1, 2016 – L.L.Bean recently opened its third Virginia store at Lynnhaven Mall, the cornerstone of Virginia Beach shopping. KBE Building Corporation (KBE) served as General Contractor for the renovation project designed by Cuhaci & Peterson and located at 701 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach.

The 17,138 square-foot space features an assortment of active and casual apparel and footwear for men and women, as well as outdoor lifestyle gear including hiking, fly-fishing, kayaking and camping equipment.

KBE, a $300 million construction firm located regionally in Maryland and Connecticut, performed a tenant improvement and facade upgrades of the former Lord & Taylor building, which now is home to the new L.L.Bean store.

This is the third store KBE has built for L.L. Bean. Other projects include renovations to the L.L.Bean location at Tyson’s Corner Mall in Tyson’s Virginia and tenant fit-out for the store at The Shops at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, CT.
